What time does the parade start and finish? 

The teams will start the route from approximately 2pm.

It is expected to take approximately two hours to complete the route, though this is indicative.

Emirates Stadium, Drayton Park and the surrounding roads will be closed throughout the parade and will not be accessible to the public.

Supporters are encouraged not to congregate around the stadium area, Hornsey Road, Benwell Road, or Drayton Park as you will not see the teams from these locations.

 Where is the best view of the parade? 

Wherever supporters choose to stand, you will have a similar experience to the rest of the route.

We encourage supporters to spread out along the full route so that everyone can enjoy the celebrations safely.

 Will the bus stop anywhere? 

The buses will not stop along the route, meaning there is no need to head to any single location.

 Will there be a trophy lift? 

There will not be a trophy lift along the route as the buses will move continuously.

Wherever supporters choose to stand, you will have a similar experience to the rest of the route.

We encourage supporters to spread out along the full route so that everyone can enjoy the celebrations safely.

 Will there be large screens along the route? 

There will be no screens along the route.

We will have plenty of signs around the route with key information, and stewards will line the full route and will be able to support with any questions you might have.

 Is the event free to attend? 

The parade is free for all to attend and enjoy.

This is a historic occasion for supporters of all ages to share together. Please be mindful of younger fans and families along the route, and considerate of local residents and businesses as you arrive and leave.

Please be advised that navigating prams through the crowds can be challenging if you are bringing young children to the event.

 Is the club shop open? 

The Armoury will be closed all day on parade day.

The parade route will not feature Emirates Stadium or Drayton Park so we encourage all supporters against congregating at these locations, as you will not see the teams.

 Is there anything happening inside the stadium? 

Emirates Stadium will not be part of the parade and the stadium and podium will remain closed throughout.

Supporters are encouraged not to congregate around the stadium, Hornsey Road, Benwell Road, or Drayton Park as you will not see the teams from these locations.

 What roads are closed and when? 

You can see information on the parade route and affected roads on the information page.

Road closures are expected to come into effect from approximately 04:00 on Sunday 31 May until approximately 20:00, although this may be later depending on what is safe to do at the time.

 What are the best transport links? 

We anticipate large numbers of supporters will travel to the area, so please plan your journey in advance and allow extra time travelling to and from the parade.

Buses: Due to the road closures supporting the event, 23 out of the 26 local bus routes serving the event area will be diverted around the event footprint or curtailed at locations such as King's Cross, Archway or Old Street.

These diversions will be in place between 03:00 and 20:00 or when roads are safe to re-open.

Station Place bus station at Finsbury Park will also be closed for the same period.

Wells Terrace bus station at Finsbury Park is planned to remain open throughout serving routes W3, W7 and 210.

Please check before you travel.

Tube: We anticipate large numbers of supporters travelling to the area, so please allow extra time.

Some stations close to the route will operate with restrictions, including exit-only arrangements or temporary closures.

Highbury & Islington – Victoria line services will not stop at the station. London Overground services will operate exit only. Please note the station will not be step-free on the day.

Holloway Road – will be closed.

Canonbury – will operate exit only.

Finsbury Park – will be the nearest station operating both entry and exit and is recommended for supporters requiring step-free access.

Queues are expected, particularly after the parade.

London Overground: Services across the area are expected to be extremely busy.

Highbury & Islington and Canonbury stations will not be available after the parade due to crowd management measures.

Supporters travelling towards Crystal Palace, West Croydon or Stratford are encouraged to use Dalston Kingsland or Dalston Junction.

National Rail: Services across the area are expected to be extremely busy.

Drayton Park and Essex Road stations will be closed on the day of the parade.

There will be no Thameslink services to or from Finsbury Park through central London to Farringdon and Blackfriars due to planned engineering works.

Alternative stations: To avoid congestion and long queues near the parade route, supporters may wish to use stations slightly further away and walk to the celebrations.

Depending on your location, stations including Manor House, Archway, Angel and King’s Cross St Pancras may provide quicker onward journeys.

 Is parking available? 

Due to the parade, Islington Council will be implementing temporary parking suspensions and road closures across multiple streets in the borough.

We strongly encourage supporters not to drive to the event.

There will be no parking available at Emirates Stadium.

 Are there accessible viewing areas? 

There will be viewing opportunities along the entire parade route.

However, there are no designated accessible viewing areas for this event due to its scale and nature.

 What is the advice for disabled supporters? 

The health and wellbeing of our supporters and community is our utmost priority throughout the celebration.

The parade is being organised and delivered in collaboration with Islington Council, a specialist events company, Police and other emergency services.

There will be stewards along the full route to help manage crowds, provide directions and offer assistance, with barriers and cordons in place to keep people safe.

Advice for disabled supporters:

  • Arrive early: Getting to your chosen spot ahead of the crowds can help you settle in before the area gets busy.
  • Assistance animals are welcome, but due to crowds and loud noises, supporters are advised not to bring pets that are not trained assistance animals.
  • Bring a companion if needed: Having someone you trust with you can provide reassurance and practical support.
  • Prepare for limited facilities: There will be no specific accessible facilities along the route, so please plan accordingly.
  • There will be viewing opportunities along the entire parade route, although there are no designated accessible viewing areas due to the scale and nature of the event.
  • Stay hydrated and protected: Bring water, wear weather-appropriate clothing, and be prepared for long periods of waiting.
  • Some areas may be less crowded than others. Supporters may wish to consider finding a spot along the east or south east of the route where there may be more space to move around.
  • Bring sensory aids: Feel free to bring noise-cancelling headphones, sunglasses, or anything else that helps you feel more comfortable in busy environments.
  • Take breaks when needed: If things become overwhelming, stepping away for a short time or moving to a quieter area may help.
 Will there be BSL interpretation? 

There will be no matchday show element to the parade, so there will be no BSL component.

Should you have any issues or questions, please speak to your nearest steward who will be able to help you find the right support.

There will be no toilet facilities available along the route due to the scale and nature of the parade.

 What locations have dropped curbs? 

Most crossing points along the parade route will have dropped curbs.

For crossing points that do not have dropped curbs, ramps will be in place.

 Can I bring my own chair? 

Supporters are advised not to bring stools or folding chairs to the event viewing areas, as they may obstruct movement and create a hazard.

 What should I bring? 

Please wear suitable clothing for the weather. Be prepared for hot conditions and bring sun protection and a bottle of water.

Please make use of existing establishments and bring food and snacks with you. Dispose of litter using the bins provided.

Do not leave belongings unattended and report any unattended bags or luggage to stewards or police.

 What is prohibited from the parade? 

This is a historic occasion for supporters of all ages. Please be mindful of families and local residents when attending.

Items that may pose a safety risk or disrupt the event are prohibited, including (but not limited to):

  • Weapons
  • Fireworks
  • Flares and other pyrotechnics
  • Glass items (bottles or drinking glasses)
  • Drones

Tents, stools and folding chairs are not permitted as they obstruct movement and create hazards.

Camping and BBQ equipment is also not permitted.

Do not throw items in front of the players’ buses as this may cause harm or delays.

Supporters are not permitted to follow the procession behind the buses.

 Can I bring flares or pyrotechnics? 

The use or possession of flares, pyrotechnics or similar items is strictly prohibited.

This may result in police action. Pyrotechnics pose a serious risk of injury to others.

 Can I fly a drone? 

No drones are allowed on the parade route.

Any unauthorised drones will be removed.

 Can I bring a bag or luggage? 

We strongly advise against bringing large bags or luggage due to expected crowds and limited space.

If you do bring a bag, keep it small and be mindful of your belongings at all times.

 Can I bring a dog or pet? 

We strongly advise against bringing pets to the parade due to large crowds.

Assistance animals are permitted.

 Are there other rules or guidance? 

Please be mindful of younger fans and local residents throughout the event.

Follow all instructions from stewards, event staff and police at all times.


Do not climb or attach anything to trees, lampposts, statues, railings or other street furniture.

Respect local buildings and homes while attending the parade.

Stewards will be available along the full route to provide assistance and ensure safety.

 Will there be stewards and police? 

The parade is being delivered in collaboration with Islington Council, emergency services and specialist event teams.

Stewards will be present along the full route to manage crowds, provide directions and assist supporters.

There will be an increased police presence in the area on the day to support safety and security.

If you see or hear anything concerning, alert a steward or police officer immediately.

In an emergency, always call 999.

 What safeguarding procedures are in place? 

Trained stewards, event staff, first aid teams and police will be present throughout the parade.

 What is the missing child protocol? 

Please ensure children remain with their group at all times.

It is recommended to take a photo of children before attending the parade.

If you become separated, alert the nearest steward or police officer immediately.

 Where are the first aid points? 

First aid points will be confirmed ahead of the parade and shown on the route map.

They will be clearly signposted, with stewards available to direct you if needed.
